    Position Purpose

    • Supports Project Manager, Construction Manager and Commission Manager sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Verification of Bill of Materials.
    • Supplier Identification.
    • Commodity Lead Time Analysis.
    • Order Acknowledgements.
    • Expediting delivery.
    • Materials Management.
    • Communication to Project Managers regarding material schedules.
    • Quality contro.
    • Vendor Damage Claim Management.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Not Applicable

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Knowledge of Materials Management.
    • Knowledge of Expediting.
    • Experience with purchase orders, tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site.
    • Knowledge of power delivery components and manufacturing process is a plus.
    • Must have strong computer analytics skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft, Project, Excel, and Word.

    Education and Work Experience

    • 5+ years in Materials Management positions.
    • Minimum:Associates Degree or Technical Degree required.
    • Experience in fast-paced environment.
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    Certificates and Licenses Required

    • Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
    • SAP Super user.

    Working Conditions

    • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
    • May be requested to work overtime and weekends occasionally.
    • Travel to job sites, storage areas and factories may be required.
