    Position Purpose

    • The purpose of the Project Manger is to oversee electric line construction project work performed by our MSA line contractors. Oversee project schedule (timeline and cost), evaluate resource needs, coordinate with other departments including field engineering and material logistics, maintaining status reports and monitor progress compared to established work plan.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects.
    • Defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing to the  risks, scope, schedule and budget.
    • Managing Teams — facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams.
    • Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Process and procedures on all projects.
    • Oversee Cost /Budgeting and Management.
    • Provide Communication Management.
    • Proide Change Management.
    • Provide Schedule Management
    • Construction Management Oversight.
    • Commissioning Management Oversight.
    • Risk Management.
    • Regulatory and Stakeholder Management.
    • Management of third party projects including other transmission owners and interconnecting customers.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Management of third party projects including other transmission owners and interconnecting customers
    • Manage Team by facilitating commitment and productivity, and removing obstacles

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Leadership experience in a matrix organization.
    • 7 years or more of years in Transmission and Substation Project Management
    • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power-Point, and Word.
    • SAP experience preferred.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelors Degree is required.
    • Professional Engineering License preferred.

    Certificates and Licenses Required

    •  Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional certification preferred.

    Working Conditions

    • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
