    Position Purpose

    • The purpose of this job is to support the Billing department by providing financial, administrative, clerical services, and providing guidance/leading a team in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and billing operations for a specific area.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage and assign daily workload to the Billing Team
    • Auditing billing invoices for compliance and completeness
    • Have daily interaction with Billing Shared Services Center team, providing support and ensuring following up
    • Provide training to staff, research and resolve issues and provide backup for billing support
    • Responsible for resolving customer billing inquiries and issues via phone and email
    • Provide oversight to daily work volumes and interfaces with Billing Supervisor to balance resource needs
    • Manages order volume and open order reports for account assignment
    • Responsible for the timely/accurate entry of customer billing against agreed service levels
    • Responsible for delivering customer invoices via mail, email, or web portal daily as invoices are processed
    • Provides monthly estimates on billing as required by customers
    • Provides ad-hoc reporting as requested by internal and external customers
    • Responsible for assigned customer account billing
    • Provide performance review feedback to Billing Supervisor on the team daily
    • Engages and interacts with Billing Staff daily to motivate performance and address performance deficiencies
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
    • Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed
    • Maintain staff job results by training, mentoring and advising, assigning and evaluating work, and reviewing performance annually

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Strong Excel and Word, and knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team to success including enforcing accountabilities and encourage high performance.
    • Knowledge of Customer Account Payable processes
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

    • Able to maintain high volumes of requests with quick and accurate turnaround time.

    Education and Work Experience

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
    • Associates degree preferred.
    • At least 4 years of experience in a Billing Department, preferably in the Oil & Gas Service industry.
    • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and Accounts Receivable applications
    • Experience in supervising a staff of at least 3 employees
    • Experience with SAP, preferred.
