    Position Purpose

    Business Development Manager for Applus RTD USA, Inc. (Houston, TX) Support co.’s expansion efforts by leading business development & sales of NDE services to deliver strategic growth focused on capital projects. Apply knowledge of USA based pipeline co. & contractor relationships to leverage NDE services such as Automated Ultrasonics. Prepare, present requests for proposals re capital projects. Establish/maintain customer relations thru entire customer life cycle to achieve & extend the Customer’s Life Time Value. Serve as Subject Matter Expert re applications of weld inspection methods in AUT & Digital Radiography to develop presentations and lead client interactions, meetings, technical questions, sales calls & equipment demonstrations. Demonstrate knowledge of current pipeline industry standards, code applications and client specifications to both procurement and field clients. Create analysis of business development activities, opportunities & financial forecast data models to determine progress. Attend business development meetings & prepare required docs. to report sales funnel activities to co. stakeholders, including direct, senior and corporate management. Define, establish and ensure achievement of financial objectives and operational priorities for NDE Services applied to New Construction activities specifically for weld inspection techniques related to AUT and Digital Radiography. Manage customer expectations re technical deliverables and ensure communication with project management and operation execution teams. Work directly with Financial Planning & Analysis Team to analyze billable rates and associated costs related to projects. Work directly with Project Management to monitor project performance ensuring financial feasibility & profitability, safety, quality, & customer objectives are inline with established project plan and expectations. Perform client follow up meetings to address service delivery improvement along with other technology & service opportunities. Document and organize customer feedback to present to operation execution team.

    Requirements: 3 years technical application exp. w/ pipeline new construction projects applying AUT and/or Digital Radiography that includes (within those 3 years) 2 yrs. supervising AUT and/or Digital Radiography field crews in the new construction pipeline market . ISO level II certification in ultrasonic OR radiographic testing. 50% travel to client & project sites in the U.S. Pre-employment drug screen & background check reqd.
