    Position Purpose

    • This position will provide full cycle recruiting support across all levels within multiple business units to include sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions for a wide variety of technical roles. Support corporate policies and programs related to recruiting and hiring employees while ensuring compliance with company and governmental audit requirements.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Recruit on all discipline areas, with a primary focus on technical skillsets for non-exempt and exempt level positions. This includes candidate sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, and administratively supporting the recruitment process.
    • Manage assigned requisitions in the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance with divisional employee process policies. Ensure requisitions are opened, posted, and closed as required.
    • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications. Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
    • Communicate with potential candidates in a professional manner building strong relationships for Applus+.
    • Source passive candidates to create interest and drive talent to the organization. This means doing research: reviewing org charts, job descriptions, social media profiles, search engines and market research to maintain a talent pool to support workforce seasonality.
    • Leverage social media outlets to attract passive candidates and encourage referrals.
    • Generate a high volume/high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines.
    • Enter and maintain candidate information in the applicant tracking system; assist with the maintenance of the applicant tracking system and recommend process and system improvements.
    • Fully utilize recruitment workflow and interdepartmental processes autonomously across the USA Division.
    • Support recruiting initiatives for Central Recruitment and HR Team by coordinating the administrative tasks associated.
    • Work closely with hiring managers and operations to build collaborative business partnerships.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    • Must have a strong customer service mindset; internal and external, with a focus on timely responsiveness.
    • Must have strong customer management skills; ability to participate in local weekly recruitment meetings, providing updates on recruitment progress and activity.
    • Highly organized and efficient, ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Must be able to work across various HR and recruiting teams to effectively leverage and share best practices.
    • Must have the ability to eliminate roadblocks and improves processes for successful execution.
    • The ability to provide facts and candid assessment of issues and makes clear recommendations.
    • Shows willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures.
    • Strong Computer Skills Required including working in online ATS programs, job boards, and Microsoft Office suite.
    • The ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
    • Maintains a positive “can do” outlook, rebounds quickly from frustrations and unpleasantness, and maintains composure and friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situations.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years’ technical staffing experience for field, industrial, or craft/skilled trade type positions supporting high demands and short turnaround timelines.

    Working Conditions

    • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
    • Overtime may be required during the week and weekend with work volume.
    • Ability to travel when required, nationally and internationally, up to 10% of the time.
