    Position Purpose

    • The Quality Coordinator role will ensure the integrity of supporting part information and manages all information pertaining to processing and inspections for X-Ray Industries work. The Coordinator will manage all aspects of data entry as well as quality and control for correlating technical information that is specific to each operation.  In addition to the data integrity of the part library, the Coordinator will support all Corporate and Regional personnel entering information into the system.  X-Ray Industries utilizes the part library for quality control over the inspection and processing services provided. All revisions, replacements, additions or changes to any aspect of the part library must be documented and fall under the management of the Parts Library Coordinator. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Enters part numbers, technique specifications, acceptance criteria, drawings and manufacturing operating sheets into Aerospace Processing Certification System (APCS).
    • Assist with system launches at current and/or future locations.
    • Manage Part Library Data Integrity.
    • Regularly identifies and communicates daily updates/changes to the Part Library.
    • Documents, tracks all changes to the Parts Library.
    • Identifies, recommends areas to improve in the Parts Library and supporting quality controlled procedure.
    • Ensure internal client needs are met and communicate actions appropriately.
    • Ability to develop technical training material and provide training to regional personnel.
    • Coordinate and distribute group communication announcements.
    • Complete regular system checks and audits on entered data.
    • Travel up to 25% with overnight duration.
    • Quality Management System document control, SharePoint.
    • Internal process auditing (AS9100).
    • Assist the Quality team with administrative tasks, projects, etc.
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities


    Knowledge and Skills

    • Strong working knowledge of quality standards preferred
    • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
    • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio). 
    • Knowledge and experience with data management systems or database querying (SQL or Access).
    • Ability to promote effective communication between department Leads, Business Unit Managers and various Client Contacts.
    • Ability to follow processes and work instructions. 
    • Must have strong sense of urgency, capability to “think outside the box” to achieve goals and exceed expectations. 
    • Demonstrate the use of metrics, analysis and reporting to support decision.
    • Knowledge/experience in database entry.
    • Very detail orientated in regards to accurate data entry.
    • Ability to proficiently input data while maintaining accuracy. 
    • Knowledge of Quality Management is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Associates degree preferred with 1-3 years’ experience in a data entry role.

    Working Conditions

    • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a busy office and shop environment. 
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
