Position Purpose

Applus RTD USA, Inc. seeks a Business Improvement Manager (Sugar Land, TX). Under supervision of co.’s North America CFO, analyze, develop, improve processes to support efficiency & consistency of U.S. business unit team’s handling of co.’s non-destructive testing (“NDT”) operations. Implement Global Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) system using Microsoft AX and/or SAP for standardization of business practices incl. finance & operations and automation tools for business standardization & efficiency in field operations across multiple business units. Monitor process performance & identify business improvement needs. Conduct systems/procedural audits for root cause analysis for deficiencies within co.’s internal processes, As-Is situation, conduct integral organizational diagnosis & formulate actions to upgrade/improve existing system or procedure in compliance with co. standards under guidance of CFO, leading to change proposals. Lead Business Improvement/Change projects. Assure each project is approved & accompanied by/with a project charter. Execute, design project plans, schedules, budgets & deliverables w/ USA Operational Team. Collect &/or initiate all change initiatives in organization thru completed project charters. Monitor project from initiation thru delivery, interfacing w/ internal customers. Organize meetings re status of initiatives (from initiation thru delivery) & provide feedback on same incl. actions & decisions agreed upon. Identify needed resources for projects in conjunction w/ USA Operational Team. Provide USA Operational Team & business management w/ regular project performance status, variances to plan & identification of corrective actions. Coach co.’s internal user groups at its hub locations in the U.S. & Canada in use of its process improvement tools (incl. the ERP system) w/ goal of improving cost, quality, delivery. Maintain quality process control by following organization standards & policies.

Required: 4 yrs. exp. developing business solutions for NDT industry incl. 1 yr. implementing global ERP using Microsoft AX and/or SAP. 15% travel to co.’s hub locations in the U.S and 5% travel to co.’s hub in Canada. Pre-employment drug screen & background check reqd.
