Position Purpose

  • The individual will perform a wide variety of clerical tasks, for the Lab Manager, Technicians, Shipping and Receiving Department, Quality and Safety program.  Prioritize tasks with direction from the Business Unit Manager.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Billing of Lab Cards (Primary) / Importing
  • Data Entry 
  • Perform all duties as assigned 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments 
  • Ability to communicate and cooperate with diverse groups of people
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
  • Firmly adheres to the values and ethics of X-Ray Industries Inc. Exhibits honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.

Education and Work Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Ability to compute amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.  
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  
  • Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.   
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Working Conditions

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside an office environment, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a busy office and shop environment.  
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
